So until he figures out the marvelous mystery that is reading we’ll read it my way. I have to admit that I change the words when I read it to Bug. My only issue with Snuggle Puppy is one of the lines reads: “I love what you are and I love what you do.” I wish the words were: “I love WHO you are and I love what you do.” I love what you are? I love that you’re human? I love that you’re a puppy? It’s just awkward. It was a last minute decision that cost less then $1, which makes me love Snuggle Puppy even more. Our Snuggle Puppy is thrift store buy (hence the much loved cover) from Grandma last time we were state-side. ![]() A book you can take with you but don’t need to pack, got to love it. Bug asks for me to sing Snuggle Puppy to him while we’re out and about. Paired with cute illustrations it’s a sure fire favorite for little ones. The book is a repetitious verse sung to the audience. The Low Down: Sandra Boyton has a plethora of board books that are cute and adorable but Snuggle Puppy is our favorite. Synopsis: An adult dog sings to his/her puppy about how much he/she loves him/her. ![]()
